The ocean comprises for more than 71% of the Earth’s surface, is a habitat for millions of creatures, and provides a cultural way of life for millions of individuals everywhere. Sunny beaches, warm water, and a cool ocean breeze are what some individuals see as some of the essential things that make life a tad bit more bearable. The ocean is full of many interesting things, that even with all of the innovations of modern day technology we are still attempting to figure out.
The Arctic Ocean is the smallest and coldest. It is 5 million square miles.
The average temperature of all oceans is about 39 degrees F
The Pacific Ocean is the largest of the four main oceans. Although the name means peaceful, the pacific is quite rocky. It is 64 million square miles
